Kansas Ethanol CHP

Seaton Construction Group was the construction manager for this co-generation project. The 175’ x 65’ x 34’ building will house a ~17MW Solar Titan 130 KG12380 Turbine and a Deltak HRSG- Heat Recovery Steam Generator.

This project will supply all of the power needed to run the plant and sell back 13MW to the grid. It will also supply the plant with additional steam capacity to improve their efficiencies. Most importantly, they will receive environmental fuel credits to improve the margins on their ethanol.
