Encompass Health

Encompass Health contracted Seaton Construction Group to complete several projects across the country to upgrade their current generators. Encompass Health only had generators that could support emergency and critical backup in the hospitals and have made the investment to replace generators to allow the hospitals to have back up whole house power. This will now allow all areas of the hospital to remain operational during outages. These projects typically take three months to complete.

These heavily electrical driven projects also include concrete and roadway demolition, concrete pads and flatwork, interior wall modifications, mechanical adjustments, plumbing, diesel fuel tank replacements, finishes, etc. Each hospital is different, but typically electrical panels and automatic transfer switches (ATS) were replaced on each project.

Projects were completed in Wichita Falls, Texas; Memphis, Tennessee; and State College, Pennsylvania.
