Seaton Construction is a construction management firm based in Wichita, KS, offering a comprehensive range of services across the U.S. as a leading industrial and commercial contractor, focusing on creating value for our clients and team members. We aim to develop long-term partnerships by understanding business goals and project needs. We are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to our growing team.

 

 

Essential Duties

Project Management responsibilities include all facets of running, managing and/or supporting multiple projects simultaneously with Superintendents including but not limited to: procurement, subcontractor coordination, planning and scheduling, budgeting, contract management, administrative duties, etc. for industrial and commercial projects.

  • Procurement
  • Assist with Budgeting and Estimating
  • Pre-construction and Design Review
  • Quality Control and Safety Management
  • Subcontractor Management
  • Scheduling – Primavera
  • Procore and Software Management
  • Billings, Change Order and Contract Management – Cost Controls
  • Project Budgeting & Cost Forecasting
  • Run Weekly Staff / Internal Meetings
  • Light Travel Expected
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project
  • AutoCad and BIM is a plus
  • Degree from accredited engineering and/or construction management is a plus

 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Relevant University Degree or Diploma (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management) or equivalent relative experience.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in commercial and/or industrial construction project management

 

Other Requirements

  • Ability to carry out duties in varying work environments including wide ranging weather conditions and terrain.
  • Ability to travel for short periods of time to support job site activities.
  • Regularly sit, stand, climb ladders and stairs, walk and talk and listen.
  • Occasionally lift and move objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
  • Ability to pass drug screen and background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

 

Pay and Benefits
